This site uses cookies and analytics only with your consent, and loads nothing from third parties unless you ask for it: Google Analytics starts only once you accept it in the consent banner, and the map on the contact page appears only after a click. What is processed anyway (the technical data needed to deliver the site, and whatever you send us through the contact form or by email) is set out in full below. This is a courtesy translation; the German version is the legally binding one.

What this site does not do
- No cookies without consent. Unless you agree, this website sets no cookies and stores nothing for analytics, advertising, or recognition of any kind. Only settings you make yourself are saved in your browser’s local storage: your answer in the consent banner under the key nodomic-consent, so the banner does not reappear on every page, and, if you use the theme control in the navigation, your choice of light or dark display under nodomic-theme. Both are strictly necessary to provide a setting you explicitly requested and are therefore exempt from consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. These entries contain no identifier, are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and can be removed at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
- No advertising. No marketing or advertising tools are embedded. The only analytics is Google Analytics, used only with your consent and with its advertising features switched off, as described below.
- No third-party embeds or external resources without your action. Webfonts, images, scripts, and stylesheets are served from this website. No Google Fonts, external CDNs, videos, social media plugins, or comparable third-party embeds are loaded in your browser. The exceptions are Google Analytics, which loads only after your consent, and the map on the contact page, which is loaded from Google only if you click to show it, as described below. Technical request data is processed by our hosting provider, as described below.
Hosting and technical request data
When you access this website, technical data necessary to deliver and secure the site is processed automatically. This may include the IP address, the requested URL or resource, the date and time of the request, browser and user-agent information, referrer information, and other technical request data.
Processing serves the purpose of delivering the website reliably and securely. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable, and efficient provision of this website. We do not combine this technical request data with other data for the purpose of identifying individual visitors, nor do we use it for profiling or analytics. It is retained only for as long as necessary for delivery and security purposes.
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which processes relevant technical request data on our behalf as a processor, in connection with hosting and delivery. Netlify's Data Processing Agreement is incorporated into the applicable service agreement.
Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. According to Netlify, such transfers may be based on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available in Netlify's own privacy information and data processing agreement.
Web analytics (Google Analytics)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), to understand how this website is used and to improve it on that basis. Google Analytics is not loaded automatically: until you click “Accept” in the consent banner, no connection to Google is made and no cookie is set.
Once you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…) containing a randomly generated identifier by which your browser is recognised on later visits; they expire two years after your last visit. The data processed includes in particular the pages you view and how long you stay, the page you came from, date and time, interactions such as clicks on external links or submitting a form (without its content), technical information about your device, browser and screen, and your approximate location. According to Google, your IP address is used only to derive this approximate location and is then discarded without being stored. Google signals and advertising features are switched off. Data at the level of individual users and events is deleted after 14 months at the latest.
Google processes this data on our behalf as a processor under Google’s data processing terms. Google may also process data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page or right here: . Google Analytics is then no longer loaded and its cookies are deleted. How Google handles data is described at policies.google.com/privacy.
Contact form and email
If you send us an enquiry through the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. For the form, these are your name, email address and message and, if you provide them, your company and the topics you select.
Enquiries sent through the contact form are received and stored by Netlify, Inc., our hosting provider, as our processor under the data processing agreement described above, and forwarded to us by email. Technical data of the submission, such as your IP address and browser information, may be processed along with its content. As part of the form service, Netlify checks enquiries for spam using Akismet, a service of Automattic Inc., USA; for this purpose the content of an enquiry and associated technical data may be transmitted to Automattic and processed in the United States. The form sets no cookies and loads no external resources in your browser.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is directed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and in protecting the form against spam and abuse. Incoming and outgoing email is processed by our email service provider on our behalf.
We delete your enquiry, including the copy stored with Netlify, once it has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. Providing your details is voluntary, but without a way to reach you we cannot answer your enquiry.
Map on the contact page (Google Maps)
The contact page can show a map from Google Maps, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is not loaded automatically: until you click “Show map”, no connection to Google is made. Once you do, your browser loads the map from Google’s servers, and Google receives at least your IP address, the address of the page and technical information about your browser, and may set cookies or use similar technologies. Google may also process this data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking. Your choice is not stored, so on your next visit the map stays unloaded until you click again. You can withdraw your consent with effect for the future by not loading the map again and deleting any cookies Google has set in your browser. The link “Open in Google Maps” takes you to Google’s own website instead, where Google’s terms apply. How Google handles data is described in Google’s privacy policy, linked in the analytics section above.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable legal requirements, you have rights including access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
